Punk Rock Summer Nationals 2014 with
The Offspring, Bad Religion & Pennywise
Tuesday, August 19
In 1994, Epitaph Records sponsored Summer Nationals, selling out three days at the Hollywood Palladium. The rising tide of California punk bands were brought together with their swelling legion of fans into one sweaty mass of zeitgeist. The Offspring, having just released the seminal album Smash, lead the way alongside Bad Religion and Pennywise.
Those same headliners will join together for the first time since that memorable moment and bring the event across North America. Starting in late July through the end of Summer, the trio, along with other bands on select dates including Stiff Little Fingers and SoCal punk buds The Vandals, will hit the road for Summer Nationals 2014.
The Offspring will be performing Smash in its entirety for the first time ever, an album that has sold 12 million copies and remains as the highest selling independent record of all time, plus new and classic songs. Bad Religion, fresh off the surprise success of their acclaimed Christmas Songs album, will pull from their deep catalog. Pennywise will be playing their classics along with songs from their upcoming new album.
