Frequently Asked Questions
01
What is TicketNetwork and what is TicketsNowJAX?
Similar to Amazon, TicketNetwork is an online marketplace that helps connect thousands of live entertainment fans to the vast network of independent sellers that list tickets on the TicketNetwork Online Exchange. These sellers—from fans with extra or unwanted tickets, to professional ticket brokers—offer more than 7.5 Million event tickets on our exchange every day.
This means that neither TicketNetwork nor it’s affiliate retail website, TicketsNowJAX, own, price, or ship the tickets you see listed for sale on our website. The individual sellers listing their tickets on the exchange handle all of those parts of your transaction. Our purpose is simply to connect ticket buyers with more ticketing options, rather than less.
02
How Are Tickets Priced?
Generally speaking, sellers decide to resell their tickets at a price that reflects the market, and prices often rise and fall with supply and demand. The result is that tickets on our website are often sold either above or below face value.
03
Why Is There a Mark-Up?
In addition to the market value fluctuating, sellers often have a large number of expenses to cover in order to get their hands on great seats. Sellers often must pay face value, plus fees (or membership fees to special clubs), and sometimes they stand in line for hours to get the best seats available. By marking up the tickets, ticket sellers make a small profit. The benefit for ticket buyers is they don’t have to wait in line, on their computers, or on the phone for hours, months in advance of an event to get a good seat. Instead, customers can find great seats even a couple weeks before from an event.

How Do I Know I’m Getting the Best Price?
We encourage consumers to be smart shoppers and to shop around for tickets before making a purchase. We have no problem if buyers want to spend their time searching venue and primary ticket agencies for tickets to events. The first stop for ticket purchases should always be the venue. We are consumers ourselves and love getting a deal. We want every buyer to try and access the best deal possible – regardless of provider.
Sometimes, primary ticket sources may not have very good seats available for sale or may otherwise not have any tickets available at all. So why not stop by our website (www.TicketsNowJAX.com) and check out the tickets that are being listed by the sellers on our exchange? “Sold-out” events are hardly ever really “sold out” and most people don’t have the time to plan event attendance months and months before the event itself. We have a dedicated team of professionals working hard to make sure that you have the most up-to-date information about upcoming live events and real-time access to the largest ticket exchange on the web.
05
What If An Event is Canceled?
If an event gets permanently canceled, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the price you paid for your tickets.
However, as a general rule, all sales on TicketNetwork.com are final because 1.) We do not provide the orders (no one would resell through us if we could unilaterally cancel their orders and take back their money) and 2.) The ticketing industry (primary and secondary) does not, in general, allow order cancellations. An important point to remember is that tickets are time-sensitive items whose value likely changes over time so sellers may not be able to resell tickets if they are returned (or may have to return them for less money – which represents a loss). Please be sure you want to purchase the tickets before ordering.
Our goal is to give resellers (who are mostly everyday consumers) the freedom to resell event tickets and to give consumers the freedom to choose whether or not they want to buy those tickets. In this way we are not unlike companies like StubHub, Amazon, or eBay and view ourselves in that role – to help consumers by providing them with more ticketing options (both in terms of buying and selling) rather than less.
